Battle Plan: Wait

Hello friends! It's been a while, and I'm sorry about taking so long to update. I'm thinking a realistic time frame of updating my blog is going to be monthly. So now that our expectations are set, let me show you what God has been doing in my life.

Things have been moving slow. Really slow. But still things have been happening.... let me back up and give you my present battle plan:

Right now, I'm looking for work. I don't have a job as yet, but it's looking like I'll have something by April.
After I get a job I'll be scouting out my greater aim: missions. I'm going to be meeting with missionaries and learning what exactly it means to become a missionary.
As I do that, I'll be looking into if I want a degree or possibly a trade, for various reasons.
Then, hopefully with money I've been saving up from my job, I'll begin training and preparing to become a full time missionary.

In the mean time I've not been idle. I've Skyped a friend and leader at YWAM Montego Bay Jamaica. I'm going to cast a vision to YWAM about embracing 24/7 intercession and worship. I'll be creating a video and I'll link to it on my next blog update.

Karissa and I have also been having a weekly night of worship at her house. So far not many people are able to come, but we worship nonetheless. It's always an amazing time to be with God.

There is potential that Karissa and I join a family as they minister to a trailer park this upcoming summer. We are praying about it right now.

Other than that I'm keeping my eyes open to involve myself in ministry around the Denver metro area.

For me this is a season to cement my relationship with God before I step out and begin engaging with my passion for missions. I'm investing much of my time in reading the Bible and worship. It's not glamorous, but it is glorious.

That's a brief and fairly all encompassing  overview of this past month. Keep praying for clarity as I seek God's perspective of my life. I'm excited to see what He has in store.

In Christ Alone,
T. D. Ardent
